Garden Studio Flat ready for renting

We have just finished renovating a garden flatlet on our property. It has been a month of building admin, but well worth it. The flatlet looks beautiful and is ready to rent out.

We are the champions

Pa, me, Izak and Carel. We all swam and finished the Midmar in good times. Ernst did a good job as team manager;-) and Ma looked after Lovelet.

Finish line!

Was a fun experience. 1st 400m was slightly scary-with so many people, choppy water and so far to swim! But I'm pleased to have finished in 42 minutes.

We flew to Durbs for the weekend, to swim the Midmar mile, with about 1800 other people.

Number 15

Arden is the 15th child in my family to use this highchair- his granny being the first, and me number 5 :-)

New trick

Arden has started pulling himself up into a standing position.Got such a fright the first time I saw him standing and digging through my basket of candles! Too cute.

Out for the evening

Ernst and I had a wonderful eve out last night- Italian and then watched Avatar. What a movie! Oupa and Ouma looked after Arden.

I give Arden all sorts of things to keep him busy- in the hope i'll get a few minutes peace. Ironically it always takes me longer to clean up the mess, than the few minutes that he is absorbed... Like today-i put him in a container of shallow water, with lots of toys, to play in the kitchen... Took a while to set up...and then within 45 seconds- I kid you not- I was left with a crying, wet, naked child-who had tipped the water and toys all over the kitchen floor... Happy days.
